Forwarding Yahoo to Another mail

  • Forwarding Yahoo! Mail

    With Yahoo! Mail Plus you can forward messages that come to your Yahoo! Mail Plus account to another email address—even another Yahoo! Mail address. If you enable email forwarding, you automatically receive email addressed to your Yahoo! Mail Plus account at your forwarding address.

    The Yahoo! Mail server sends forwarded messages to another address. Email clients cannot access forwarded messages.

    As long as your mail is being forwarded, new email won’t appear in your account on the Yahoo! Mail server. (Messages that came into your mailbox before you turned on email forwarding, however, do remain in your account.) This means that you can’t read new Yahoo! Mail with a web-based email client at http://mail.yahoo.com.

    Note: The POP access and forwarding features can’t be used at the same time. While your mail is being forwarded to a different account, you won’t be able to access new mail with a POP mail client application from the Yahoo! Mail server.

    Here’s How

    1. In a browser, go to the POP Access and Forwarding page. (Remind me how.)

    2. On the POP Access and Forwarding page, make sure that the radio button in front of the Forwarding option is selected.

      Select the Forwarding option and enter the forwarding email address.

    3. Enter the email address to which you want to forward your Yahoo! Mail.

    4. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save the changes to your Yahoo! Mail Plus account.

    5. You may be asked to verify the forwarding email address that you have entered. If so, follow the onscreen instructions for verification.

    YPOPs! and Outlook Express 6

    1. Select "Accounts..." from the "Tools" menu.
    2. Click "Add" button and select "Mail...".
    3. Enter your name and click "Next".
    4. Enter your email address and click "Next".
    5. Set "My incoming mail server is a" to POP3
    6. Set "Incoming (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) mail server" to "127.0.0.1".
    7. Set "Outgoing (SMTP) mail server" to "127.0.0.1" and click "Next". (Verify that SMTP is enabled in YPOPs.)
    8. Set "Account name:" to your Yahoo! login.
    9. Set "Password:" to you Yahoo! password and hit "Next".
    10. Hit "Finish".
    11. Click on new account named "127.0.0.1" and hit "Properties".
    12. Rename account to "YPOPs" or something nice.
    13. Select "Servers" tab.
    14. Check "My server requires authentication".
    15. Select "Advanced" tab.
    16. Change "Server Timeouts" to Long - 5 minutes.
    17. You may wish to select "Leave a copy of messages on server". This way the messages will not be deleted from Yahoo! when you download them.
    18. You may wish to select "Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'". This way when you delete a message in OE and empty the trash it's deleted from Yahoo! as well.

    Yahoomail&Gmail di Outlook Express

  • Setting Outlook untuk Yahoo! mail 1. Pastikan account anda adalah account yahoo lokal contoh:nama@yahoo.co.id (penting), bukan yang yahoo.com, untuk yg yahoo.com harus ada tambahan software sebagai gatewaynya namanya YPops. 2. Login ke Yahoo mail anda, klik ‘Opsi’ yang ada di pojok kanan atas, lalu klik ‘akses penerusan surat’, lalu cheklist bagian ‘Akses Web & POP’, lalu klik ’simpan’. 3. Buka Outlook Express, Klik Tool -> Accounts -> Mail - lalu klik Add -> mail untuk membuat account. 4. Masukkan nama anda, nama ini akan digunakan sebagai nama pengirim di setiap email yg anda kirim. 5. Masukkan alamat email yahoo anda. ingat, yg .co.id bukan yang .com 6. Isi Incoming mail… dengan : pop.mail.yahoo.com 7. Isi Outgoing mail… dengan : smtp.mail.yahoo.com, klik NEXT. 8. Account Name : isi dengan Yahoo ID anda tanpa embel-embel @yahoo.co.id (cukup yahoo ID nya saja). contoh : email address=budi@yahoo.co.id -> berarti yahoo ID nya = budi. 9. Masukkan password yahoo anda, dan checklist bagian ‘remember password’. Klik NEXT, dan FINISH. 10. Pilih Account yg baru saja anda buat, lalu klik properties. Pilih Tab ‘Servers’ dan checklist bagian ‘My server requires authentication’ 11. Klik OK. (Done.. ) Sekarang, coba klik Send/Receive untuk mendownload email atau men-check apakah ada email yg masuk atau tidak. Setting Outlook untuk Gmail : 1. Aktifkan settingan POP di Gmail anda. 2. Buka Outlook Express 3. Isi Incoming mail… dengan : pop.gmail.com 4. Isi Outgoing mail… dengan : smtp.gmail.com 5. Isi account name dengan alamat email lengkap dengan embel-embel @gmail.com contoh : saya@gmail.com 6. Klik Tool -> Accounts -> Mail. Pilih Account anda lalu klik Properties 7. Pilih bagian Advanced. 8. Isi kolom Outgoing…(SMTP) = 465 dan checklist “This server…(SSL)” 9. Isi kolom Incoming…(POP3) = 995 dan checklist “This server…(SSL)” 10. Pilih Account yg baru saja anda buat, lalu klik properties. Pilih Tab ‘Servers’ dan checklist bagian ‘My server requires authentication’ 11. Klik OK. (Done.. )

    Access a Free Yahoo! Mail Account with Outlook Express Using YPOPs!

  • To access a free Yahoo! Mail account with Outlook Express using the YPOPs! desktop utility:

    • Install YPOPs! and make sure it is running.
    • Open Outlook Express.
    • Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Outlook Express.
    • Click Add and select Mail....
    • Type your name.
    • Click Next >.
    • Enter your Yahoo! Mail address ("hmmzl34@yahoo.com", for example).
    • Click Next > again.
    • Make sure POP3 is selected under My incoming mail server is a ___ server..
    • Enter "localhost" under Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:.
      • If "localhost" does not work, try "127.0.0.1" instead.
    • Type "localhost" under Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: as well.
      • If "localhost" does not work, again try "127.0.0.1" instead.
    • Click Next >.
    • Type your Yahoo! Mail user name under Account name:.
      • The user name is your Yahoo! Mail address sans "@yahoo.com". In this example, the user name is "hmmzl34".
    • Enter your Yahoo! Mail password under Password:.
    • Click Next >.
    • Click Finish.
    • Highlight localhost in the Internet Accounts window.
    • Click Properties.
    • Type "Yahoo! Mail" under Mail Account.
    • Click OK.
    • Click Close.

    Useful YPOPs! Options

    I recommend you also double-click the YPOPs! system tray icon to change a number of useful settings.

    You can make YPOPs! ignore messages in the Bulk Mail folder of your Yahoo! Mail account, for example, tell it not to mark downloaded messages as read, fetch sent mail or have YPOPs! put a copy of outgoing mail in your Yahoo! Mail Sent Items folder.

    Access Free Yahoo! Mail with Outlook Express Using IzyMail

    To set up a Yahoo! Mail account in Outlook Express via IzyMail:

    • Make sure your Yahoo! Mail account is registered with IzyMail.
    • Select Tools | Accounts... from the menu in Outlook Express.
    • Click Add and select Mail....
    • Type your name.
    • Click Next >.
    • Enter your full Yahoo! Mail address ("hmmzl34@yahoo.com", for example).
    • Click Next > again.
    • Make sure IMAP is selected under My incoming mail server is a ___ server..
    • Type "in.izymail.com" under Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server:.
    • Enter "out.izymail.com" under Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:.
    • Click Next >.
    • Type your complete Yahoo! Mail address under Account name: ("hmmzl34@yahoo.com", for example).
    • Now type your Yahoo! Mail password in the Password: field.
    • Click Next >.
    • Click Finish.
    • Highlight in.izymail.com in the Internet Accounts dialog.
    • Click Properties.
    • Go to the Servers tab.
    • Make sure My server requires authentication is checked under Outgoing Mail Server.
    • Go to the IMAP tab.
    • Make sure Store special folders on IMAP server is checked.
    • Type "_Sent" under Sent Items path:.
    • Enter "_Draft" under Drafts path:.
    • Click OK.
    • Now click Close.
    • Click Yes to download the list of Yahoo! Mail folders to Outlook Express.
    • Click OK.
